Grid
GRID
A 3D isometric electricity puzzle about chain reactions.
The board is a dark circuit floor. A battery sits at one end, a locked door at the other, and a scatter of loose connector pieces in between. None of them line up. Your job is to make them line up, then throw the switch and watch the current run.
Built in Unity 6.5 for a game jam. Cel shaded, orthographic, gold energy on near black.
How to play
- Click a connector to rotate it 90 degrees. Every click counts as a move.
- Line up the chain. A piece only passes current if its output end physically meets the next piece's input end. Rotation is the whole game.
- Hit Power On. Current traces the chain step by step, rising in pitch as it travels. Reach the door and its indicator flips from red to green.
- Fewer moves means more stars. Three stars for a clean solve, and they drop away as your move count climbs.
- Reset if you tangle it, and the level starts over.
Fuses (the chain reaction)
Some boards have fuses. They block current, so you can't just route through them. Feed one anyway and it detonates, destroying itself into a dead hole but blowing open the breakable wall beside it. Now there's a path where there wasn't one. Adjacent fuses catch and chain detonate down the line.
Sometimes the only way forward is to blow something up and route around the crater.
